Our Values
Pursuit of God
We are hungry to know God’s presence, hear His voice,
and follow hard after Him. (Philippians 3:10)
Integrity
It is important to us to speak the truth, deal honestly,
and live uprightly.
(Ephesians 4:15)
Sinners
We value sinners in God’s church, whether they are
Christians or non-Christians. Though we value walking in
righteousness, we do not want to be a church where sinners
do not feel welcomed and loved. Like Jesus, we value relationships
with the broken, bound, hurting, and confused. In fact,
we welcome them into our lives! (Mathew 9:9-13)
Simplicity
We value simplicity and thus will not use manipulation,
deception, or coercion to motivate people to function and
participate in church life. We do not want anything for
its “religious effect”; rather we want to operate
in a natural, low-key, non-hype way. We desire to do the
ministry of Jesus with joy. (MatT6:1-8)
Realness
We value being real and sincere. We believe that God is
most glorified when we are the most human, and we are the
most human when we are walking in relationship with God.
(Mathew 6:1-8)
Hospitality
We value giving and receiving hospitality. We value joy,
friendship, caring, warmth, and acceptance in our relationships
with one another. We value making guests welcome. (Hebrews
13:2)
