Our Light the Night Festival on October 31st is one of the largest outreaches that we do as a church. This year it will be on Sunday night. Part of what will be new this year will be some original booths that center around Bible stories. We need people to help build these. On Saturday, Oct. 23 we will be finishing up the construction on the booths here at the church from 10am-2pm. We need people that work with wood and/or construction, painters, craftsmen (or women), etc. If you can help that day and/or bring tools, please email Jason and let him know your gifts and talents. *NOTE: We are now collecting candy for Oct. 31  so please remember to buy some extra to bring to the church and put in the bins that will be available in the lobby.

Verse of the Day

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. — James 3:17-18 (NIV)
