VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES UPDATE

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES UPDATE: We continue to encourage volunteers not affiliated with an established volunteer organization to go to Volunteer Reception Centers (VRC) located in areas affected by the storms in Alabama. To date, there are over a dozen VRCs  across Alabama. Please visit www.ServeAlabama.gov<http://www.servealabama.gov/> for the most updated list of the VRCs or to get more information about volunteering.
As we head into the weekend, we encourage you to volunteer in less publicized communities affected by the storms. VRCs are open in the following locations:

Please report to the VRC as you enter the affected communities. At these VRCs, you will find out about immediate volunteering needs and receive any credentialing necessary for the community you are in.
